Recording and Editing A

Editing/Rec Suite

This room is small - two-three persons max - and equipped with Macintosh computers and outboard gear necessary for:

  • Audio production/editing
  • Lecture creation/recording sessions
  • Zoom web conferencing sessions.
  • Video or Photo Editing

For music students: ProTools and Reason are installed and there is a preamp for connecting microphones, and a USB keyboard. Note that we are not staffed to provide engineers, so you really need to know what you are doing before you book the room.

Booking the studio

Refer to the calendar below for available days/times. The studios are open 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday, and are closed weekends and holidays when the campus is closed. Please use the Studio Request Form* to request room use. MPS staff will approve use or not based on availability on a first-come first-served basis. We may contact you to learn more about your intended use so we can make sure we are prepared.
